1. High Notes

• Feb 26: Good meeting! About 21 singers present. Wouldn't it be a doggone shame if we outgrew our room and had to find another? Have you invited anyone lately to our chorus practice sessions?

• Mar 4 (Monday): Regular weekly meeting at our regular location and our regular times. 
  • 6;30 for Mixed Chorus, 7:30 for Men's Chorus.
  • Everyone should be prepared to sing any of the songs in the March 18 program (see below) in rehearsal tonight. Sectional rehearsals will also be a possibility for the contest songs and newer songs.
  • Nic will have several sizes of shirts (men's and women's cuts) for them to try on at rehearsal on Monday, so we will know what to order.

2. Carol's Korner

Each week, we are becoming more musical and are ringing more chords. Keep shaping tall vowels (north/south) and maximizing the length of each vowel to become more pliable and expressive. We are on a ROLL!!

3. Future Notes

• April 19 to 21: Carolinas District Convention in Pinehurst NC. Quartets will compete on Friday evening. The Mixed and the Men's Choruses will compete, separately, on Saturday!  

4. Long Range

• April 27 (Saturday): Please reserve several hours in mid-day for our performing at Cary Spring Daze, to be held at Bond Park. Our invitiation to perform is confirmed, but not the time of day. Usually, it has been around mid-Day.
• April 29 (Monday): Oak City Sound in concert at The Templeton, near Kildaire Farm Rd X Tryon Rd.
