1. High Notes
  • June 23 (Monday):  Welcome to our new and returning guests: Key, Lydia, Ciel, Dave, Deanna, Gary, Ray, and Winta! Guests are welcome to attend the performance next Monday (June 30), or we look forward to seeing you on July 7 at our next regular rehearsal.
  • LAST CHANCE: Vote your available dates for our Coaching Session. We would like to schedule a session with a Performance Coach – please vote for the Mondays that you KNOW you will be available.
  • June 30 (Monday):
    • PERFORMANCE at Woodland Terrace: 300 Kildaire Woods Dr, Cary, NC 27511
      • Wear Red, White & Blue (flag colors) for our Patriotic program. (Black bottoms/shoes as usual.)
      • 6:15p Call time; 7p Performance. See performance list under Carol’s Cadence.
  • July 7 (Monday):  Regular rehearsal @ The Templeton (our summer location). Regular bat times of 6:45p for Mixed, 8pm business, and 8:15p Men’s.

    • July 17 (Thursday) – Fundraiser: Panda Express (all day/nationwide). Code forthcoming.
    • July 28 (Monday) – Fundraiser & Social!  Chick-fil-A @ Waverly Place, 4p-7p (just a block from The Templeton). This location ONLY. Must order in the APP ONLY (but can drive through, pickup or eat inside). CFA will also send a message to app users, hopefully adding additional orders. We will earn 10% during our time block. Let's make this a chorus social and meet for dinner before our rehearsal!
    • Oct. 17 (Friday) – Oak City Sound’s 50th Anniversary Celebration. Crabtree Park. Tentative times: 4p – 8p. More details soon!
  • LET GARY KNOW your availability for the DATES for N.C. State Home Game Concessions – We passed around a paper sheet on Monday, but not everyone was there in person. Reminder: This is our KEY fundraiser for the year! Please check your schedules to see if you can commit to AT LEAST one or two games. To work the game, you will need to complete an online training ahead of time. (For newbies, see a board member for more details.)

6. Major & Minor Moods

  • Nic Cols headed to the ER on Monday (thanks John Z.) with speech and arm issues. His wife Sandra joined him there. She later confirmed it was not a stroke and Nic was treated with steroids. They headed back to Duke today for an existing appointment. The new infusion treatment should help stop tumor growth and also improve his aphasia.
  • Following the results of a back MRI, Sharon Muha is now making appointments with different back doctors to get opinions on next steps for treatment.
