3. Carol's Cadence
Last Monday went well. For the first time in recent chorus history (20 years?!), we did NOT run through any full song for the performance. We merely started them all, stopping after just a dozen measures. And we had NO major mistakes (and not really any minor ones that an audience would notice)… just our usual "not following the director's instructions" stuff with vowels, line, emphasis, etc.
Everyone seems to be so comfortable with what we just performed, with only a few songs skipped from our repertoire, that we clearly need to get some new songs to work on.
FYI, in just a few months, we will switch over to holiday songs, probably keeping just half of what we sang last year.
For rehearsal for this MONDAY, May 5:

I’ve Got the World on a String
